Terrain Type: Warm/Temperate Aquatic
The Northern Ocean, as its name suggests, stretches away to the north of the continent. Anything more than a few miles from shore is uncharted, as treacherous currents and hidden reefs wreck any ship that dares to try its luck in the deeper waters. Monstrous creatures add to the danger of the open sea, and are quite numerous in the deeps further from shore.
What look like tangles of huge sea snakes have been sighted in the waters far offshore, and dragon turtles come to lay their eggs on the beach in the small bays north of Lake’s End.
