Terrain Type: Temperate Aquatic/Marshes
Because of the semi-constant rain, Broad Lake is always full. This provides abundant food for various animals, and not all of them are friendly. The folk of Lake’s End are used to this, though, and can defend themselves quite handily.
The lake is warmer than most, and its northern and eastern banks degenerate into a sort of swampy marshland – a haven for snakes, stirges, and other assorted squishies. Tales of will-o-wisps haunting the bogs near the lake’s edge are enough to discourage most folk from travelling at night.
